IT-Dienst::Hybridlehreausstattung am FB MI - Zusammenfassung

Folgende Möglichkeiten bietet die Ausstattung:

• Videoaufnahme des Tafelbildes per Raumkamera
• Audioaufnahme per Funk-Ansteckmikrofon

WICHTIG:

• Zur Verwendung von Kamera und Mikrofon benötigen Sie einen eigenen Laptop mit 2 freien USB-A Anschlüssen!

• Bitte ändern Sie keine Einstellungen der Geräte, es ist alles korrekt voreingestellt!
• Hinterlassen Sie den Raum ordentlich und lassen Sie die Technik vor Ort!

Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Räume vorab über das bekannte Raumbuchungssystem reserviert werden müssen. Raumreservierungen haben immer Priorität gegenüber Spontannutzungen.

IT-Dienst::Hybridlehreausstattung am FB MI - Bedienung der Technik

Sowohl Kamera als auch Mikrofon müssen jeweils per USB-Kabel mit einem mitgebrachten Laptop verbunden werden. Es werden zwei freie USB-A Anschlüsse benötigt. Die nötigen Treiber werden unter mind. unter Windows 10/11, unter macOS >=10.15 Debian Linux automatisch erkannt, sodass keine manuelle Installation nötig ist.

Nachfolgend eine schrittweise Kurzanleitung auf Englisch

Microphone

• If the base station is turned off, turn it on with the switch on the back side of the base station.
• Connect the base station directly to your laptop, using the USB cable.
• Wait a moment for your laptop to recognize the device and install the drivers.

• If the microphone is turned off, turn it on by pressing the power button on the side for some seconds.
• Wear and use the microphone with lanyard or optional with the clip-on microphone.
• You can adjust the volume by pressing the + / - buttons directly on the microphone or on the base station.

• Configure the microphone as source in Webex, it’s called “Catchbox”.

• After usage, please turn off the microphone by pressing the power button on the side for some seconds and put the microphone back in the charging station.

Camera

• If the camera is turned off, turn it on with the remote ("power" button on the bottom left).
• If the camera does not react,
  • look for a Beamer power Switch and turn it on.
  • press the CAM1 button on the top-left of the remote
• Connect the camera via USB cable to your laptop.
• Wait a moment for your laptop to recognize the device and install the drivers.

• Configure the camera as source in Webex, it’s called “CV610-UB USB2.0 Camera”
• Check the resolution/HD mode and mirror setting in Webex “Video settings”.
• Use the remote to align and zoom the camera as needed. With a wide view the blackboard is hard to read.

• Preset buttons on the remote:
  • 1: total view
  • 2: left board (in case the room has 2 boards side by side)
  • 3: right board (in case the room has 2 boards side by side)
  • 4: lecturer
