HCC Data Lab participates at the »Digital Storytelling in Classical Studies« Roundtable Discussion
News from Nov 15, 2023
The roundtable focuses on narrative communication strategies for archaeological and ancient studies in digital formats. Katrin Glinka, head of the HCC Data Lab, will contribute with a presentation that addresses digital mediation in mixed reality, data visualization, challenges of uncertainty in historical data and shares design implications for critical-reflective human-AI collaboration in the humanities. The roundtable discussion will also feature presentations by experienced representatives from the fields of archaeological, ethnological and art historical public relations, museum mediation, and archaeo-informatics and will provide insights into existing and ongoing projects and the strategies used there to tell stories in the digital space.
The roundtable discussion is part of the FU-Spotlight project »Things with story(s). Digital Storytelling in Ancient Studies Teaching«, initiated Elisa Roßberger and Valery Schlegel.
