Student Assistant (f/d/m) 41h/month - Focus: Large Language Models in Healthcare

We are looking for a student assistant (f/d/m) (41h/month). The position is limited until 31.07.2027.

Identifier: HCC2025-SHK-ILL
Application deadline: 03.03.2025

Our research group Human-Centered Computing Research Group (HCC) represents an interdisciplinary team in the field of collaborative computing and human-machine interaction. The focus is on advancing research and the design of socially responsible technologies. We analyse the interdependencies of data, algorithms and social context in order to enable sustainable human-machine collaboration. The current application focus is on technologies from the fields of machine learning with reference to questions of explanations, privacy and reflection, with a focus on interactive and conversational user interfaces. We understand these technologies as socio-technical systems that are located in specific contexts of use. Our methodological approach to system design, which is based on critical practice, is also derived from this.

Our values

  • We offer an open, interdisciplinary, and dynamic working environment where all people with different backgrounds and experiences are welcome.
  • We are committed to open-source software, open science, and free access to knowledge.
  • We conduct regular team exchanges and promotion of your individual qualities and skills.
