Diane Linke is a researcher at the HCC Research Group where she is currently writing her Ph.D. Her research focus is in the field of conversational reflective informatics where she studies configurations and elements of conversational interaction concepts that are particularly suited to trigger and deepen reflection in users.
In the collaborative research project DocTalk, she designs and implements a conversational agent that aids residents of the Charité in information retrieval and offers sustainable reflective learning sessions.
With a background in business informatics, especially data science, Diane Linke's wider research interests extend to the field of responsible artificial intelligence (AI), including fairness and explainability. In her Ph.D., she combines conversational reflective informatics with this interest and studies how far (prospective) data scientists can be sustainably sensitized regarding responsible AI pitfalls and transform their perspective on responsible AI through conversational on-demand reflection sessions.
