Free / Open Source Software Engineering Group

This is the homepage of the Free/Open Source Software Engineering Group at the Free University Berlin. We are part of the Software Engineering Group in the CS department.

Mission Goals:

1. We strive to improve the Free / Open Source world.
2. We try to achieve goal 1 by tailoring established and newly found principles from Software Engineering Research for the special needs of distributed and open ways of development.
3. We try to gather information about the existing processes in Free / Open Source projects so that we can be successful with goal 1 and 2.
