Rene, please write an expose for the thesis here with the following tasks.

Tasks for this thesis (as discussed in Knut Reinert's office):

• StringSet of Journals
• Import/Export of Journals (delta files, elaborate format)
• Write a tool for extracting a single genome of a Journal StringSet (flatten)
• Convert alignment → Journal Operations
• Write a tool for Adding/Deleting Sequences to a Journal (with correct deltas to a common reference)
• Implement a balanced Journal Tree (could use the SkipList data structure or another existent efficient ds)
• Implement Suffix Array of a Journal StringSet (with synchronisation and import/export)
