Abstract
The internal transfer of knowledge at research-intensive organisations is often not sufficiently managed or left in the hands of the Technology Transfer Manager (TTM). Due to the external focus of this organisational role, the TTM faces several challenges when it comes to managing the internal exchange of knowledge. In this research-in-progress report, we propose a socio-technical system that supports the management of the internal transfer of knowledge. Furthermore, we introduce the organisational role of the Knowledge Transfer Manager which is a central part of the socio-technical system.
