Informationen zum abgeschalteten Dienst "luftbruecke.inf.fu-berlin.de"
Hintergrund Diensteinstellung "Luftbrücke"
- Der VPN-Dienst "luftbrücke" wurde am 19.10.2007 eingestellt.
- Er diente für Virtual Private Network-Verbindungen von zuhause, fremden Universitäten und aus dem Funknetz heraus.
- Das alte System war den aktuellen Anforderungen im Bezug auf Skalierbarkeit, ein zentrales Accountsystem sowie neue, künftige VPN-Zugangsarten nicht mehr gewachsen.
- Aufgrund von Hardwareschäden musste der Server "Luftbruecke" leider schneller als ursprünglich geplant abgeschaltet werden.
Ersatz für "Luftbrücke"
- Der neue VPN-Server heißt
