Thesis "Fuzzy Focus Tracker"

Description:

As part of the actual process research at the Software Engineering group, we needed better data about the on-going activities of the developer. Previous work had established a platform for gathering the process events down to file-level granularity. With this thesis an additional event-sensor was developed which can track the focus within files. It is thus now possible to have quantitative data about the methods within a class that a user has been occupied with.

This thesis was written by Thorsten Wenzlaff in summer semester 2006. Advisors were Christopher Oezbek and Lutz Prechelt
