IT-Dienst::Windows - Installation Optionaler Software

Our Windows computers are operated via software distribution (SCCM). Since Windows 10 we are providing a catalog of common software for installation by users. Additional software can be requested from the IT service by sending an email to support@mi.fu-berlin.de. Normally the software will be installed by us automatically. In some cases, however, we assign them optional, so that the user needs to trigger the installation manually. The following guide explains how to find the software list.

Important: A VPN connection is required outside the FU.

Unsere Windowsrechner werden über Softwareverteilung (SCCM) betrieben. Seit Windows 10 stellen wir darüber einen Katalog gängiger Software zur eigenständigen Installation zur Verfügung. Weitere Software kann über den IT-Dienst per Mail an support@mi.fu-berlin.de angefragt werden. Normalerweise wird dann die Software automatisch über uns installiert. In manchen Fällen weisen wir sie allerdings optional zu, sodass der Benutzer die Installation erst manuell aufrufen muss. Nachfolgend wird erklärt wie man zu dieser Auswahl der Software gelangt.

Wichtig: Außerhalb der FU ist eine VPN-Verbindung erforderlich.

Open "Software Center" via "Start" → "Microsoft Endpint Manager" or via Info Icon "New software is available":
