Dominik received his Bachelor as well as his Master degree in computer science from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. Since 2009, he is working as a research student in the Internet Technologies (INET) Group. During this time, Dominik got deeply involved in the development of communication systems and distributed programming. The many existing challenges in designing transparent and robust software for concurrent and distributed systems stimulated his continued work. He is enrolled in a cooperative PhD program with the INET group at HAW Hamburg and the Computer Systems and Telematics Group at Freie Universität Berlin.
