The next step is to contact a member of the working group and discuss various open and available topics. Once you and your supervisor have agreed on a rough direction for your topic, you should write an exposé.

And for this exposé you can use our template below!
Once you have filled out most of the chapters and sections send the exposé to your supervisor. You will then get feedback and most likely have to revise your exposé a few times.
When you both are happy with the exposé, you can register your thesis. Please ask your supervisor for the specifics how to do this. Afterwards you (usually) have 12 weeks (or 24 weeks for master students) to write your thesis and hand it in.
