Dear doctoral and postdoctoral researchers,

the summer semester is approaching and we are looking forward to welcoming you back to our online workshops soon. The workshops will be published on March 30, 2021 andbooking start will be April 14. Save the date!

Don’t miss your chance to take part in the biggest doctoral survey in Germany to date! The longitudinal National Academic Panel Study (Nacaps) systematically collects data on doctoral conditions in Germany. More than 20,000 doctoral researchers from 53 universities participated in the first survey in 2019 and the results are available at nacaps-datenportal.de. Thank you to those of you who already took part in the past two years – we hope that you will continue to do so to support the longitudinal aspect of the study.

If you are a doctoral researcher who newly registered at Freie Universität during the last two years, Dahlem Research School will have sent you an invitation link by email. Should you not have participated already, we strongly encourage you to make your path count and take part! Dahlem Research School will use the results to further develop our support services to meet actual needs and we are looking forward to meaningful figures from as many participants as possible.

Upcoming Workshops & Events

Save the date!! Workshop booking will start on April 14

On March 30 the workshops will be published on the DRS Website. Please make sure to take a look before the booking period starts, as the workshops are booked up quickly.
We have prepared workshops ranging from the fields of research integrity, publishing skills, speaking and presenting, as well as workshops on funding and managing to support you during the completion of your doctoral research. And for those already advanced, there are offers to prepare you for your next career steps.
