A Science Communication Perspective on the Projective Plane
Abstract: The projective plane is a fundamental concept of mathematics and has been used by several science communicators to show mathematical structures behind various real-world applications. In this talk, we first give a short introduction to the projective plane and then show three such examples of the projective plane being used in science communication efforts. Then, we will analyze these examples within the established framework of science communication models.
