Between March 19th and 21st, the HCC team came together in Klein-Glien for our annual retreat. Through a number of workshop activities and work sessions, we reflected on the research work we do at the HCC, developed educational resources for students writing their thesis at HCC, and reviewed the roles within our team. Further, we discussed and updated the purpose statement, communicating the goal of our research efforts at the HCC:
"We at the HCC aim to contribute to society by addressing challenges that emerge from applying technologies in healthcare through researching meaningful interaction concepts from a human-centered perspective. In our empirical research, we are committed to actively involving people and engaging with their different perspectives to promote participatory and value-based health technology design. We adhere to the principles of open science and seek to improve the interaction with health technologies on a societal and individual level.."Keywords
