Dear International Doctoral Candidates,

The Dahlem Research School would like to warmly recommend you our German language courses. The intensive courses are especially developed for doctoral candidates whose research work is mainly in English and who have no prior or only little knowledge of the German language. Training of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills will increase the command of spoken and written German. There are two courses offered: One for doctoral candidates with no prior knowledge of German and one for doctoral candidates with little knowledge of German. In that way, you will be able to learn in an optimal environment with peers with similar language knowledge:
