Requirements:
1. You are an international doctoral candidate of Freie Universität Berlin
(a proof is required: Student ID Card = Immatrikulationsbescheinigung).
2. You have no or little knowledge of German (less than 100 lessons).
- You can attend the course in full length.
+++ Peer Mentoring Group
A series of four sessions: March 8 and 22, April 5 and 19, 2016, 5:30pm – 8:30 pm
§ in a team of 4-6 doctoral candidates
§ under the supervision of an experienced trainer
§ define concrete goals on your way to your dissertation
§ use your team’s resources, receive and give feedback, inspiration and support

+++ How to Give Successful Scientific Talks
March 10, 2016 10 am – 6 pm and March 11, 2016 9 am – 5 pm
During the two-day workshop, you will train your presentation skills, receive individual feedback and have chances to improve in the following areas: presenting clear content; designing proper slides; be convincing on stage.
