SommerUNI 2025
News from Apr 09, 2025
Are you in 10th grade or above and curious about what studying at a university is really like?
Then join SummerUNI 2025 at Freie Universität Berlin! From August 25 to September 5, 2025, you’ll have the opportunity to explore exciting topics in MINT (Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften, Technik), take part in hands-on workshops, attend inspiring lectures based on current topics, and learn more about the FU study programs.
Whether you're interested in programming, physics, chemistry, or engineering—there’s something for everyone!
This year, we especially invite you to a highlight lecture of Prof. Dr. Claudia Müller-Birn:
»Mensch und KI: Wann Zusammenarbeit funktioniert – und wann nicht«
Artificial Intelligence is already a part of our everyday lives—from voice assistants to personalized recommendations. But how does human-AI collaboration work in practice? When does it succeed, and why does it sometimes fail? In this lecture, we’ll explore the strengths and limitations of both humans and machines in joint projects. You’ll learn how trust and transparency shape cooperation, why misunderstandings are often unavoidable, and how differently humans and AI 'think.' Together, we’ll uncover how we can embrace these differences to make future collaboration even better.
After the talk, there will be an opportunity to discuss the topic directly with the Claudia Müller-Birn.
The lecture will be held in German on September 4, 2025 (3:00 PM – 4:00 PM) in Arnimallee 22, 14195 Berlin – Lecture Hall A.
You can participate in-person or online. For in-person attendance, register as soon as possible.
