Participation of the CRC 1114 at the 26th Berlin Mathematics Day - Saturday, May 06, 2023

Several CRC 1114 members have been involved in organizing the 26^th Berlin Mathematics Day with a variety of roles and tasks.
Jun. Prof. Dr. Ana Djurdjevac (FU) joined the organizing committee, Prof. Dr. Carsten Hartmann (BTU) and Prof. Dr. Marita Thomas (FU) contributed to the competition tasks and Prof. Ralf Kornhuber (FU) could be found among the lecturers. Prof. Dr. Carsten Hartmann – CRC 1114 member and professor at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg – did welcome his own guests to the 2nd Day of Mathematics at the Central Campus Cottbus on May, 6^th as well.

The Berlin Mathematics Day (Berliner Tag der Mathematik) is an annual event that rotates through the involved institutions and offers information as well as opportunities to interact with science to students, teachers and all citizens interested in mathematics in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. The mathematical institutes of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, Berlin University of Applied Sciences, the Zuse Institute Berlin, and the Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics contributed to the organization and program. More than 150 volunteer students and staff from the institutes supported the event, which took place in its 26^th iteration.

Beteiligung des SFB 1114 am 26. Berliner Tag der Mathematik, Samstag, 06. Mai 2023

Mitglieder des SFB 1114 waren dieses Jahr mit vielfältigen Rollen und Aufgaben am Tag der Mathematik beteiligt.
Im Organisationskomitee des 26. Berliner Tags der Mathematik waren u.a. für die Koordination an der FU Jun. Prof. Dr. Ana Djurdjevac und für die Wettbewerbsaufgaben Prof. Dr. Carsten Hartmann und Prof. Dr. Marita Thomas aktiv. Unter den Vortragenden war z.B. auch Prof. Ralf Kornhuber zu finden. 

Prof. Dr. Carsten Hartmann - heute Professor an der BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg und vorher viele Jahre im FU-Aufgabenteam des Tags der Mathematik engagiert - begrüßte zum 2. TAG DER MATHEMATIK am 6.5.2023 die Gäste auf dem ZENTRALCAMPUS COTTBUS.

Der 26. Berliner Tag der Mathematik ist eine Mitmach- und Informationsveranstaltung für Schüler:innen, Lehrer:innen und alle an Mathematik-Interessierten Bürger:innen in der Region Berlin-Brandenburg.
In diesem Jahr lud die Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin zum 26. Tag der Berliner Mathematik ein. Schüler:innen, Lehrer:innen und alle an Zahlen interessierte Bürger:innen konnten am 6. Mai 2023 von 9 bis 18 Uhr auf dem Campus Adlershof in die Welt der Mathematik eintauchen und einen der angebotenen Vorträge anhören:

Traditionsgemäß haben sich die mathematischen Institute der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, der Freien Universität Berlin und der Technischen Universität Berlin, sowie die Berliner Hochschule für Technik, das Zuse Institut Berlin sowie das Weierstraß-Institut für Angewandte Analysis und Stochastik beteiligt.
