Building evacuation is an important topic today, as buildings can accommodate more and more people that have to be evacuated in dangerous situations. To improve evacuation time powerful tools are needed which can simulate evacuation situations, have the capability to optimize (or at least enhance) evacuation time and give a good impression to the responsible persons via visualization and statistic. In this talk we present our approaches to the field and present the ZET evacuation tool.
