The VMV annual workshop has a standing tradition of bringing together scientists from all three fields to share their results, experiences, and visions. The last workshop was hosted with great success by the University of Konstanz at Lake Constance, Germany. This year's workshop takes place in Braunschweig, the home of Carl-Friedrich Gauss.
