Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss how by using Hilbert-Burch matrices we obtain very explicit maps to the Hilbert scheme of points on the plane. Those maps are equivariant and when restricted to attracting cells with isolated fixed points give isomorphism. In general, for cells with positive dimensional fixed-point locus, we obtain étale maps.
