Abstract:

We describe an alternative construction of the A^1-homotopy category given by Morel that involves inverting certain 'anodyne extensions' in the category of presheaves on smooth affine schemes. This construction of the A^1-homotopy category will be used to prove the homotopic classification of vector bundles in the following talks.
