OFCP is a tool for performance measurement of OpenFlow Controllers. It measures the response time of an OpenFlow controller and fits the response time to a Hyper-Erlang distribution for building performance model of OpenFlow controllers.

It uses buffer-id to identify the response of a packet-in message. The controller application that is under measurement must response a flow-modify message or packet-out message with a buffer id for a packet-in message.
